The Buell Foundation is matching $41,000 worth of donations to help TLC purchase the building. Double your donation!

Let's get The Learning Council into their forever home! Granting more access to classes, workshops, and nutritious food in our community.

The Learning Council offers so much to Paonia and beyond. They have a lot of programs happening round the clock that need a central location so that all may participate.

With your help, TLC can purchase 138 Grand Ave, securing your favorite programs for years to come, including:

  • Classes in African Drum and Dance, music, art, storytelling, photojournalism, agriculture, social and environmental justice to name a few
  • Nutritious community meals every week; ingredients sourced from local farms
  • Bike Co-op facility for folks to fix their bikes and score a community-sponsored bike
  • The DC CARES (Delta County Coalition Advocating for Radically Equitable Spaces) central location for members to get together and learn
  • Sexual Health Education classes taught by trained educators; classes for parents and for youth
  • ICE CREAM! Yes, there will still be ice cream served in the storefront, doubling as a youth hang-out location
  • An Arts for All location for classes, performances, and more!

Your generosity can help bring all of these programs right to Downtown Paonia. With your help, we can cultivate curiosity, health and vitality, and a spirit of lifelong learning here in our valley. Donate today!
